Another week has come and gone, and I’m still designing something every day. My favorite this week is the Ghost Pop Can. You can be the judge. Take a look at the First Week and Second Week posts if you’d like!
It is very interesting to see my style really show through in these designs. I’m trying to diversify myself as much as possible. Maybe next week I can do some things completely different.
Day 10 – Ghost Pop (Soda) Can
I love playing around in Photoshop and manipulating photos. This image is a ghost, made out of pop cans. I utilized the “Multiply” layer style and duplicated/transformed/resized a simple pop can image.
Day 11 – Columns
Remember the Sega game columns? Anyway, this image was completed in Illustrator. I used gradients, drop shadows, and manipulated the colors to create an abstract image of…something.
Day 12 – Type Symbol
Task: Create a symbol using one letter. Can you tell which letter I used?
Day 13 – Portfolio Cover – Vintage
What if there was a Graphic Design portfolio from the 70’s? This is what it would look like.
Day 14 – GaGa Myself
In honor of Lady GaGa, I GaGafied myself. Don’t laugh at me. Ok, go ahead. I’m anxiously awaiting criticism from my friends on this one.
Day 15 – Epic Skate
I’m enjoying ice skating at my local park this year. So I thought I would practice in a warm environment and play around with some Photoshop layer styles.
Day 16 – Space, Not a Final Frontier
Yes, space is always fun to portray through digital art. Here is a combination of a fantasy-feel melded with a sense of outer-space.
